best online stock trading website?
I’m trying to see which site offers the most for its consumer’s for investing/trading with stcoks and bonds etc…
Scottrade is the best site for beginners, $7 a trade, and only $500 to open an account. Easy to use web interface, and includes some decent research.
For more experienced traders with more $$, Interactive Broker is the best.

In the past, I have tried Scottrade, E*Trade, Schwab and ThinkorSwim. Depending on the type of trading you do, they all have their pros and cons. But I like TOS because it has the best software, the best fills on orders and lots of free education if you need it.
Other places will have more research available, but TOS is great for active traders.

TD Ameritrade – expensive 9.99 per trade , but the best i have seen.
Zecco – 4.50 per trade – it is okay
You use Wells fargo / or Bank of america free trading account if you maintain some minimum balance.
