Which online brokerage company (etrade, ameritrade, scottrade, etc) has the lowest fees and is easy to use?

I prefer to use Scottrade.
NO account maintenance, service, or inactivity fees.
Excellent trading platforms (very user friendly).

Online trading commission rates:

Scottrade = $7.00 (for stock over $1.00 a share).
Sharebuilder (real time) = $9.95.
T.D. Ameritrade = $9.99.
Schwab (standard) = $12.95.
E-Trade (standard) = $12.99.

As in cheap or low cost per trade, low commission.

Fast, not taking too long to actually perform the transaction, if possible honoring prices they themselves gave.

Easy, not having to put a lot of info on each trade, if possible single click, and good friendly customer service

Offering the option to have cash dividends sent to your home instead of being reinvested.

I might also want the option to have the ‘paper’ representation given for stocks be sent to my house.
Also preferably no membership fee or annual fee if possible.

You will hear everyone post what they currently use. I have been a member of most of them and I change brokers when a cheaper one comes along.

My requirements are that I am looking for cheap and that it can get the job done. I don’t want to pay for fancy charts or other unimportant things like that.

So I am with Zecco.com. There is no annual fee and a trade is $4.50. If you have the value of $2500 or more in your account (including cash of course) then you get 10 free trades a month. Can’t beat that right now
